The leaves are beginning to turn here. Decorating the yard for Halloween and Thanksgiving is one of my favorite aspects of the holidays. The great thing about this time of year...is feeling like a kid again. Yipppeeeeeeee!

The days are getting shorter once again. I noticed this morning that the leaves are falling more frequently in the back yard. As happy as I am that the tourist season has quieted down, I am a little sad to see summer waning. Of course...that means the holidays are around the corner! Taking down the patriotic decorations, which I fly all summer long, and putting up the Fall and Halloween fun. Home Sweet Home <3

Ahhhhhhhhh...warm and sunny with little chance of rain. A little sunburned from time on the beach at Folly. Really, do I care? No! Time with friends and my "sister" are the best!

The Statue of Liberty has reopened! Loved my trip to New York City, and am looking forward to planning another trip. I understand the Freedom Tower is a must see. When I was there, they were still working on the 8th floor.

Independence Day is upon us. While I work on July 4th to ensure safety for the American public, many of you will be celebrating our country in various ways. Remember the sacrifices of our ancestors that established this great country of ours. Despite my concern about the direction...I LOVE MY COUNTRY. Stormy weather yet again today. Summer here in Charleston is busy at work, and busy gardening here at home. I just hope that all of the work Mawdy and I did is not in vain. I fear for the drowning of my little ones. I really wanted to go to the beach today. **Sigh** Well, tomorrow is "All About Me" Monday. Nails, pedi, hair--The Worx!
